Sandy S. Neidigh

Sandy Neidigh was appointed to the Board of Aviation Commissioners in January, 2008 by Mayor Fred Armstrong.

 

Sandy has been a resident of Columbus for 39 years.  Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, she has also lived in Wichita, Kansas where she met her husband Rick.  She has been employed with PSI Energy, Cinergy, and now Duke Energy for 38 years.  During her career with Duke Energy, she has held several positions, and is now the Columbus Office Coordinator working in the Operations Department.  She attended IUPUC.

 

She is a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and the International Association of Administrative Professionals, where she has held many offices including president.  She is active in the Bartholomew County Democratic Party, and has been involved in the March of Dimes and American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

 

Sandy’s husband Rick passed away in February, 2007, after a long fight with cancer.  They have two daughters who both reside in Columbus with their families, and four grandchildren.
