Glasair Super-II FT N59CL

November was a slow month, spent working details on the wheelpants, uninteresting to describe or show.

December got much more exciting as we started fuselage painting.   The process began with numerous coats of K36 primer, most of which were blocked back off to level the surface.  Once the final even coat was on, we put on a bright white (ppg #28xx).  Then the stripes & number mask from Moody AeroGraphics were put on.  After back masking the white, the lower fuselage, stripes & numbers were painted 'Hawaiian Orchid' (ppg #xxxx).  After a bit of detailing, the masking was moved back 1/8", the edges of the purple knocked down, and clearcoat (ppg #xxxx) was applied.  Wet sanding finished the task.
